A small set of historical treatises anchors the BaZi tradition, including 渊海子平, 三命通会, 滴天髓 with its 阐微 commentary, 子平真诠, and 穷通宝鉴. Several have doubted or anonymous authorship, and the best-attested layers are often later commentaries rather than the original verses. The library cites them by transliteration with an English gloss, because no single canonical English title exists for any of them and their content varies in weight across schools.
