Changing one's fate (改命) is the traditional idea that the natal allotment is a starting point rather than a fixed verdict, and can be reshaped through conduct and self-cultivation. It is best known from the Ming scholar Yuan Liaofan's 《了凡四训》, which argues that an ordinary person is bound by their allotment but one who reforms and does good can remake it. The product reports this as what a tradition teaches, not as a mechanism it endorses or a promise of results.
